Alan Saunders

I started my career as an Apprentice Drupal Developer at Hydrant after completing a bootcamp with a London-based apprenticeship provider. Before that, I studied IT for four years, earning a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT and a Foundation Degree in IT from University of Central Lancashire via Carlisle College. During my studies, I discovered a strong interest in web development.

Over the years, Hydrant became part of Upbeat Productions, which was later acquired by Liquorice Marketing and now trades as Ideas + Outcomes.

I’ve gained experience across both frontend and backend web development, server management, and CMS platforms including Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, and Magento.

I became an Acquia Certified Drupal 8 Developer in 2019 and later earned the Acquia Drupal 10 Backend Specialist certification. I’m committed to continuously expanding my skills and certifications as web technologies evolve.
